Since its birth during the summer of ‘08, pop/rock quintet Quinarii has given songs all over good reason to rejoice with their crystal clear sound, boundless energy and dedicated love for their art. Quinarii began its endeavours in earnest when lead vocalist Elaine decided that it was time for a new high to be found and brought together 4 other talentedmusicians - Errik, Ben, Ivee and Stephanie -, each with their own unique and varied musical background.

Wanting a name that would stand out amongst their contemporaries, the band united under the banner of the Quinarius, an ancient Roman silver coin valued at 5 asses that represented their nature as a quintet band and the sense of history and uniqueness.

As a fledgling band, Quinarii plays mainly covers of fan-favourite pop and rock songs while brewing up a good old dose of band chemistry to give the band “that sumthin’ special”, with original songs emerging as the band grows in experience and co-ordinated musical ability."
